#1 It’s pretty in pink!
Hello Kitty is a worldwide phenomenon. Some people have their rooms decorated entirely with the character’s merchandise and some keep them treasured like collectibles. And now there’s a space dedicated to Hello Kitty and friends for fans to enjoy; Hello Kitty Town.
Located in Puteri Harbour, Hello Kitty Town is home to the beloved character and aims to create the most memorable experience for attendees; from dining to arts and crafts to entertainment. Everything at Hello Kitty Town is worth looking at. But if you need convincing, here are 5 reasons you have to visit the place:
Explore Hello Kitty’s Home
In this 3-level building lies a replica of Hello Kitty’s home from her kitchen to her living room and bedroom too! And once the kids are done exploring this floor, they can move up to the remaining levels which are home to Bob the Builder and Thomas the Train.
Go on a Tea Cup Ride
There are plenty of activities for kids to participate in throughout the day at Hello Kitty Town. From cookie decorating to badge making to dressing up as their favourite Sanrio character; there’s never a dull moment here.
Be Entertained by Hello Kitty and Friends
Kids can stand a chance to meet Hello Kitty and her friends - which includes Dear Daniel, My Melody and Bad Badtz-Maru - during the Meet & Greet. Guests can also watch a couple of shows at the Purrfect Stage during the weekend and a candy parade on the weekend.
Dine at the Red Bow Cafe
No tour is complete without a food stop and this one is definitely worth stopping for. The Red Bow Cafe serves themed snacks, meals and drinks that are both tasty and pretty for the ‘Gram. Our personal favourite is the kitty waffles and the kitty fried rice (there are cutouts of Hello Kitty too!). It’s a must-try.
